You may work with a partner to complete the assignment. In the first set of questions you only need to complete three questions. In the second set, you only need to complete two questions. This is a total of five questions. Work together and have fun with the more creative problems.

1. Draw a picture on your graph paper that consists of at least 5 lines. Find the slope of each line.
2. Find the slope of your desktop.
3. Draw a tree with at lease five branches. Find the slope of each branch.
4. Find two parallel objects in the room. Portray them on a graph and explain why they are parallel.
5. Find two perpendicular objects in the room. Portray them on a graph and explain why they are perpendicular.

1. Draw a line on a piece of paper with a positive slope. Use this line as a reference and draw at least 5 other lines that are either parallel or perpendicular to the original. Use your lines to make a pattern and color it in.
2. Create a ten-question quiz about intercepts, slopes, and relationships between lines.
3. Create a story about slope. There must be at least three characters and you must describe how they interact. Be creative and come up with a fun plot.
4. Write your own word problem and try to stump your neighbor. It has to do with this section and you have to be able to explain the process to getting the solution.
